Based in a history of American pioneer values, the Bernhardt
Furniture Company is a family-owned legacy that takes pride in its
historical roots. Founded in 1889 by John Bernhardt, the company
started out by manufacturing hand-hewn furniture out of native
white oak in North Carolina. The furniture was eventually taken up
by large distributors in Chicago and New York City. Since that
time, the Bernhardt family has owned the business and expanded upon
their product line to include a huge array of furniture, from
traditional wood pieces to contemporary metal and upholstery. Today
the company's "extended family" includes over 1,400 employees and
salespeople in the United States and more than 50 other countries.
With an eye towards future success, Bernhardt is committed to
family values and preserving the environment while providing you
with the same quality furniture for which they've always been
known.Bernhardt offers a collection of more than 400 occasional and accent pieces to enhance the décor of any room in your home. Product Warranty
Manufacturer's warranties are provided as follows: 5 years for wood case goods and beds; 7 years for spring mechanisms; 3 years for cushions, filling materials, and sleeper mechanisms; 1 year for stone/mineral components and air mattress pumps.
